DIARMAID FERRITER
Diarmaid Ferriter is Full Professor and Chair of Modern Irish History at UCD and author of numerous books, including The Transformation of Ireland 1900-2000 (2004), Occasions of Sin: Sex and Society in Modern Ireland (2009), Ambiguous Republic: Ireland in the 1970s (2012), The Border: The Legacy of a Century of Anglo-Irish Politics (2019) and, most recently, Between Two Hells: The Irish Civil War (2021). He is a regular television and radio broadcaster and a weekly columnist with The Irish Times. In 2019, he was elected a member of the Royal Irish Academy.

BILL KISSANE
Bill Kissane was educated at Trinity College Dublin and the London School of Economics where he is currently an Associate Professor in Politics. He has published The Politics of the Irish Civil War (2005) and Nations Torn Asunder: the Challenge of Civil War (2016) with Oxford University Press, as well as After Civil War: Division, Reconstruction and Reconciliation in Contemporary Europe (U Penn Press).

LEEANN LANE
Dr Leeann Lane is a lecturer in the School of History and Geography, Dublin City University. She is the author of Rosamond Jacob: Third Person Singular (UCD Press, 2010) and Dorothy Macardle (UCD Press, 2019). She is currently working on a biography of Mary MacSwiney.
In 2012, Dr Lane was appointed by the Taoiseach to the Expert Advisory Group on the Decade of Centenaries.
